I moved around a lot before settling here. I grew up on Long Island where I spent many, many teen nights brooding and arguing with friends about which Björk album was better at the Witches Brew Coffee & Tea House (see picture). I danced a lot in Providence for 4 years while I attended RISD and moved to Baltimore after graduation where I worked at an industrial history museum and fell in love with John Water's filth culture. I moved out west in 2012 and have since immersed myself in technology and the start up world.
In my 20's I travelled the world earning medals of all colors playing roller derby, but these days in my free time you can catch me at a yoga class, reading too much, pretending I know how to play the drums and guitar, cooking elaborate meals, obsessing over the interior design of my new home or going for a hike with my partner and our dogs Gus and Ozma.
I'm a full stack designer that likes rolling up my sleeves and getting my hands dirty in every part of the design process.
Good design starts with zeroing in on human needs, and the design process should be centered around systemic ways to solve real problems for real people.
